Born in Utah, and now living in Idaho, Manuel Mansanarez received his early art training from an exceptionally gifted high school art instructor.
His motivation and inspiration have been the U.S. and Canadian Rockies. Mountain vistas and abundant wildlife are core material for all his work. In his opinion "the tentativeness of an animal in the wild totally changes its conformation" and for him "the best pose of an animal is when it is surprised or extremely interested in something."
Manuel has made his art available to many conservation organizations and has exhibited at the national conventions of Safari Club International, the Foundation for North American Wild Sheep and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation as well as various galleries in Jackson, Wyoming, Livingston and Bozeman, Montana.
